I enjoyed Peking Opera a lot in my 4 years as an undergraduate. The Tien Chan Yee Fu Performing Arts Centre was only a 40 min bus ride from my dormitory, and that was where I watched performances by the Shanghai Peking Opera Troupe and other visiting performances from troupes of the other provinces. The charm of Peking Opera, as with other performing arts, cannot be fully captured in a photo, but that doesn't stop us from trying, if just to provide a snapshot that will, hopefully, attract more to the art. was looking through the stuff on my external hard disk and realized that the folder containing the photos I took in university was a whooping 60 GB. 60 GB of photos detailing the bits and pieces of life as an undergraduate. Of course there were the school trips and outings, both in and out of Shanghai, but there were many more of the sights on the beautiful campus I called home for 4 years -- the flowers, trees, roads, buildings, snow, sunshine... these were the things that accompanied me every single day, and for that I am grateful. not all of the photos turned out right, but those that are somewhat decent, I share here, because truly, Fuda
